The Blue Moon Theatre provides superior entertainment through classic and contemporary stage productions, and provides an atmosphere for local visual artists to share their works with the community. We have exciting events planned, and even more in the works! It is essential to keep the arts alive and to share it with the next generation. The arts heal the mind, spirit and soul as much as entertain. Bringing this excellence to the stage is truly a work of art. As a non-profit organization, it is our goal to help and provide needed services to veterans and families in need, as well as give back to the community that has welcomed us. We are excited to announce our first official season, in our new home, the historic Opera House in Woodstown NJ. The Woodstown Opera House opened in 1885 and was once home to vaudeville acts and "talkies". One of our goals is to eventually buy the Opera House and restore it to its former glory. Together with the generous support of individual donors, foundations and corporations, we hope to revive this beautiful historic building to its pristine grandeur so it can once again be the heartbeat of the community. The Blue Moon Theatre is a place for all artists! It's a venue to showcase local art, a stage for those who have the passion to perform, and a house for those who enjoy the art of live performance. We look forward to having you become part of our community as much as we are to become a part of yours! |
